Testimonials

  • Njerũ Mĩano

“We enrolled our son at Yoseikan-Ryu Karate in 2013. Over the last 12 years, we have seen tremendous growth in our son particularly in confidence, self esteem, and his willingness to tackle challenging endeavours. We saw a boy who was seriously bullied at the start of year 7 grow into a young man that is no longer a pushover. We consider our son's achievement of Junior Black Belt as his second right of passage. Despite the fact that he wanted to quit Karate at some point, he is now aspiring for Senior Black belt. Similarly, our daughter started training at Yoseikan-Ryu Karate 5 years ago and is currently working her way towards Brown Belt. This tremendous growth in our kids is a testament to the quality and standard of instruction at Yoseikan-Ryu Karate, under the leadership of the Chief Instructor Branco Bratich. We highly recommend Yoseikan-Ryu Karate to any parent that is looking to see this kind of growth in their kids”.

  • Anka

“Joining Yoseikan-Ryu Karate in 2010 has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. What began as a simple interest quickly grew into a lifelong journey of personal growth, discipline, and resilience. The training is not just about physical strength or technique—it's about building character, mental focus, and respect for yourself and others.

A huge part of this journey has been under the guidance of Sensei Branco Bratich. Branco is more than an instructor—he is a mentor, a role model, and a genuinely inspiring human being. His knowledge of martial arts is matched only by his dedication to his students. He brings out the best in everyone, no matter their age or ability, and leads with integrity, humility, and unwavering passion. Branco has impacted my life far beyond the dojo. His teachings have helped me face challenges with confidence, stay grounded in times of stress, and continually strive to be a better version of myself—on and off the mat. The sense of community he has built within Yoseikan-Ryu is a testament to his leadership and his genuine care for every student. I can’t thank him enough for what he’s done for me. His influence will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am incredibly proud to be part of the Yoseikan-Ryu family and feel beyond privileged to train under Branco Bratich.”
